We made the mistake of going between 7-8pm on a Saturday. It was over an hour wait at that time (understandably). The place was super tiny, so it didn't seem like it was a sit and relax atmosphere. More of an atmosphere to enjoy local, fresh well-cooked seafood and be done. It smelled so freaking amazing, but we didn't stay. If I ever visit this area again, this is a place I'd still like to try.

The place is a little off the beaten path. But they had plenty of parking and have been around for over 50 years. We ordered drinks and appetizers and one main course. The service was fine. But the food took some time to come out. But it was very very good and well worth the wait. I would give the place 5 stars if it was not for the long wait on the food.

What is not love about Black Diamond Oyster Bar. This new version of a classic old favorite is stellar. The service was top notch and the food was off the chart. The BDOB has both indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a variety of seafood, burgers and amazing appetizers. They also have their daily specials posted on the board as you walk in. I'd highly recommend you give them a try. Some of the best seafood in Corpus Christi. Alright Alright Alright.

Amazing sea food. All of there fish is very fresh flounder and the shrimp was as fresh and tender as you can get. This will be a regular stop on our return trip each year!

The wait was long and the service was very slow. Our server was super nice. Another server was rude and made snide comments about all the people waiting for a table inside being in her way. So take the initiative to ask them to move... Anyhow, the fried fish and hushpuppies were the best! Great draft beer selection. Nachos were not good; obviously had been under the warmer awhile. I'll go back for sure though, just for the seafood!
